power window switches question
i have a 98 4 runner with power windows... it only has driver side automatic window down. is it possible to replace the switches (cluster of 4 with door lock) with one from a 1999 4runner that has automatic for both driver and passenger and will the automatic for the passenger side still work?

i have heard that this has been tried, and there is more to the system than the switches i think... there is clicking that comes from my 1999 passenger door when i use it... relay possibly, does your 98 do this going up and down???

if its cheap enough, try it.
i too have to think that a relay would be required to keep the power to the window while in 'auto', try to get that too.
id like to do that to my back windows.
