Single cab or Xtra cab, and my truck dilema

Hey guys. I found this nice 90 SR5 pickup (single cab), I went and looked at it and it was nice, but I think I want an Xtra cab for some more room. What should I do? Buy the single cab, or wait for an Xtra cab? Im a sucker for SAS on a single cab though.

Also as most of you know im selling my 82 4x4, should I just keep it and part it out, and keep the front axle for a SAS on the truck above. Axles are kinda hard to come by, and you never know whats inside.

I might have the 82 sold for $800, but not sure.

Thats a good idea, but it might be too much to maintain 2 rigs. Plus buy a trailer.

I love this truck, what I would like the 90 im looking at to look like:

In my opinion a regular cab is nicer because of the shorter wheel base. where as a ext. cab is nice for people carrying and more options.

dont need a trail just get a tow bar or dolly.. if laws prohibit..
upkeep on 2 tucks isnt much more than one and just fix the trail when funds allow .. keeps your dd mint.. THATS A NICE RED TRUCK.. but i could never take my dd through the stuff i put my trail bitch through.... its nasty offroad and i like to beat the snot out of it..

and still get to work monday...

also when you buy a new truck you dont know what your getting into... your truck you got a feeling for it.. and if you kept that truck in that condition for say 10 more years your 82 would be worth alot more than 800

I have an xtra cab tacoma and trust me the extended cab is good for little more than throwing your backpack and a few tools into. there is no way to fit a normal sized person back into those seats.

take that into consideration for your choice. its nice to have a little extra space, but it really doesn't do much

well since i have a sub box shoved behind my bench in my 91 S/C, I have jumper cables, 4 quarts of oil a gallon of water and a jacket sitting on top of it, who knows whats under.
I think a toolbox mounted in the bed of a single cab would make it a bit more bareable.
Ya dig ?

The 90 has a system and a 6 disk changer behind the seats, i plan to pull it out. The tool box is a good idea. Im thinking of parting out my 82.
