Safari Roofs
Anyone have an idea who makes these things or any ideas where to look for them. I'm looking at the Safari roofs like they use in africa. I think they would be great to mount on truck camper shells to make more room for camping, etc...
Any clues???
They seem pretty simple. Four supports and a fiberglass top. Does anyone know how to search Africas junk yards?

Seems like the construction is very similar to a boat top/bimini. Look around for boatyards/repair docks.
The other option would be sneak into a golf course and cut the roof off a golf cart...

ah, very true... I will take a look at some marine stuff. I can't find anything about a safari roof though. I've googled and froogled and searched everything. There are plenty of land rovers with them but I have no idea how they got them. I may try a land rover forum tomorrow and see if they have any clues.
