Dumb question on Optima 34/78
I've been trying to get a 34R as this battery has the terminals in the appropriate place; however, they've been sold out and the expected date keeps moving further out. BTW, I know that people have had issues of late w/ red tops but there are more people here that have had good experiences so this seems the battery of choice for me.
Since the terminals on the 34/78 are in the middle and the battery is shorter than stock, can I just not put in the spacer? I believe this should be sufficient length for the stock terminals to reach w/o stretching. I currently have an aftermarket battery and I don't even have the bracket that held the stock battery in place. My next question is will the new battery move a ton if I don't have this bracket (and it's shorter than stock height) as I don't notice much movement now w/ the aftermarket battery?
Thanks for any help.

just go to an audio shop and they'll do any extending necessary. i've got a spacer on there and the bracket on top. i sure don't want that battery moving one bit.
