air horns

ok i have searched...i want an airhorn like those on mack truck or fire truck, loud and deep. i know there are many different kinds but if you have somewhat deep air horns a sound clip would be nice along with what brand they are and where you got them

I'm looking to get a train air horn for my vehicle. You can get them on ebay for about $300. 150+ db. Just slightly loud.

You want me to be even more deaf dont you?

I took out my horns in my T100-they sounded like a roadrunner MEEP-MEEP! I swapped for some wolo maxihorns and was happy.

this has been covered thousands of times. basically, unless you get a real air horn setup (read: tank, compressor, trumpets), you won't get the sound. electric ones just dont cut it. some are satisfied with things like wolo's and whatnot but none of them can get as deep and loud as truck or train horns. youll need to buy a whole setup from a truck shop or off ebay like you said or strip them off a junkyard rig. either way, its going to cost you some decent money.

You want Grover air horns. The emergency or Stutter-Tone type.
