22re cam suggestions

Which cam would you suggest for off road and low end torque? I am looking at the LC Engineering pro efi offset cam. Have any of you had experiences with this cam?? Its going in an 85 5 speed 4:10 gears (for now) 31x10.50 tires, used mainly in the hills and hauling small loads. Thanks Tim

I would look at engnbldr.com email Ted and get his recommendation, probably the 261C. Personally I would stay away from the LC cam, they claim it is the max the EFI ECU can handle, and IME (I had the TRD Stage II which is the same way) it works fine at sea level on a mild day, but get some elevation and some temp and it goes to crap, the EFI cant keep up... Just my .02

Engine Bldr is where I bought the head so I will see what he suggests for the cam. The truck will be running at 6000ft. elevation at times. Thanks again for the info. Tim

I've got the 261C cam from Ted and love it. Can't wait to see how it feels once I get my exhaust done and can actually benefit from the cam.

I haven't had any experience with this guys cams. I bought something else from him (idler arm bushings on same page) and was totally satisfied with the quality of the product and the way he runs his business. So have a look, sounds like you can get one he's got specs for or any specs you desire. (The engine page states he custom makes any grind that is possible for $89+core)
