Truck wont start-

had this problem before replacing these things, but recently replaced both the alternator first, then truck started and ran great for about a week before it wouldn't start again. Then replaced the starter. Truck started up every time for a few days, and now back to square one. Battery has sufficient volts, starter and alternator have been tested and appear to be fine. When i turn the key, it does click and if I get a jumpstart I am good to go. Any ideas what it could be, anyone????

mine wouldnt fire 20 minutes ago. Smacked the starter with a crowbar. Started right up.

Love Toyotas. Pretty predictable.

Maybe the jump resets your computer? Is it throwing codes?

sounds like it could have something to do with the solenoid on the starter... if you havent already i would pull the starter and maybe bench test it to make sure it is good... alot of the times you will get a bad part from auto parts places.

You can do a quick voltage test at the solenoid terminal to assess the condition of the starter relay:
