4Hi helps with steering in soft sand. If going into a turn in the soft stuff and your front tires just plow hit the gas and suddenly it steers.

yea i use 4hi more than 4lo in the mud..

if you try to go through ACTUAL mud (not mud with gravel underneath or something similar)in 4lo..you will not make it..unless your in like 2nd or 3rd gear..

it takes wheel spin to get out of a muddy pit..not slow @$$ crawling..

one of my friends goes muddin in 4lo and second gear..which is basically almost the same as 4hi and first gear..i think its a little easier on the clutch though..

if you do nothing but play in the mud..get ahold of a set of super swampers...

you will fall in love with them...there is NO comparison to a super swamper..except another super swamper..thats it..they are AT THE TOP when it comes to muddin

wel i do play in mud a lot but that trcks also my daily driver...swampers will probably my gas mileage rite? whuts the best in-between tire?

gotta go with bfg mud terrains on that one. thats what i run. its my daily driver, and the tires preforme great off road

Im sold on pirelli scorpion ATRs,as soon as I get 800$.Size 31X10.50R15 on a 5SPD 4X4.
