Idler Pulley Squeak?
Hey all!
Just discovered this forum and what a bunch of great information, was wondering if someone could help me out, I searched, but i have another question. I have a 2003 Toyota Tacoma Xtra cab TRD off road package, 5vze-fe, 5 speed manual 4x4. As near as i can tell ive got a squeak coming from the AC idler pulley( lowest one on the front of the engine) it only makes the squeak at idle and does it intermittently. Its not the throwout bearing noise associated with these trucks as it does it clutch in and clutch out. Does the Pulley need to be changed out or is there some way to lubricate it to stop this noise? As far as i can tell its not a loose belt either beacuse they feel tight. Any help or advice would be greatly apprciated!
thanks
Matt
