This is all good info. It really helps to make a informed choice. Got any more facts? I wish there was a year by year break down. Such as Efi and suspension in cab options etc......

Well i am really liking the 87 xtracab with the 22rte. Just not sure why they canned the engine after only a two year run. I like the square look.

[quote= I like the square look.[/quote]

just find a 2nd gen and swap a 3rz (2.7) in it later.
150 hp stock.

you could turbo it and get over 2 easy.

I hear what u are saying. But i want a stock truck for the most part. I don't want the v6 they drink gas way to much. Plus one day these are going to disappear.

ok it has been a search but I think i have located the truck.

It is a 1994 toyota v6 97,000 miles on it. It has a auto trans. THis is the only thing that has me stalling.

So what i am asking it this. What do I need to be worried about with this year and trans.

I was told there is a head gasket issue with some of the V6 trucks is this one of those years.
Is the auto better worse or the equal to a manual trans.

Is there awaay to to tell if the tuck has ABS.

Any help plz as I am looking the truck over in the morning.

Unfortunately, yes. You should have asked the seller if he had ever rebuilt the head. If not, and if only at 97K, you might want to look into doing it but that's just my opinion.

There is nothing wrong with an auto tranny, just be gentle with it, it's old. You do get less mileage and put around a bit slower than most but it still gets the job done. . . You should probably drain it and change the filter and while you're at it, change all the other fluids

Upload the pics!!!

I did one better then asking the seller ho did not know there was a recall. I called a toyota dealer and they checked for me. Both recalls where done. The head gasket at 20k and the steering at 67k.

I will get pics.
