1st gen 4runner vibration when turning
Hi there-
I have a 1989 4runner, 1st gen with 1.5"ball joint spacers in the front.
I noticed, about 6 months ago that when I turn left there is a subtly vibration(maybe grinding) coming from the front driver side. Same for the passenger when turning left but even more so subtle.
When I bought the truck, about 4-5 years ago I repacked the bearings. There was a little wear on the bearings but no burned areas. Could this be the bearings or something else?
Thanks in advance for your input and comments.
My truck build is in my signature.

Thanks Myyota. I plan on replacing the stock IFS with longtravel IFS. New bearings, axels, etc. Chance are that the noise is coming from something in there but would there be anything not being replaced that could cause the noise while turning?
