how to get the old fuse out ? it doesn't seem to just come out like other fuses. and is it a big deal if I jerry rig the fuse with a piece of soder so I can get to work tomorrow ? I'll pick up a fuse from Toyota tomorrw. mainly having trouble removing it.

The fuse is bolted in, you can`t just pull it out. Look at the fuse holder it snaps into the fuse box, with a flat blade screw driver push the plastic clip over to unsnap it and pull the whole fuse holder out from the bottom of the fuse box, you will see the bolts that hold the fuse in place.
