Mickey Thompson MTZ's - '07 Tacoma

I finally got my MTZ's on the Taco!

They are 265/70-17E (stock).

I am amazed that the ride itself has not changed much at ALL. Going from a P tire to an E rated LT tire seems like the ride quality would suffer quite a bit, however, it's just fine!

The tires raised me up by about a half an inch and made the truck itself look like a completely different rig...I'm MORE than happy.

Check out the link in my sig for pics!

I'll post some in here after a little while.

Thanks!

Fink

amazing what a set of tires does for a truck. Nice when a new addition looks good and functions well too.

Very nice! I imagine they are quite a bit noisier on the pavement versus the stock radials?

Ya know, they're really not that bad. Obviously they are noisier but with these things being as well insulated as they seem to be...it doesn't bother me at all.

The real test was my girlfriend riding with me and she didn't say a word about it.

I do think I need to air the tires down a little bit more, the bed tends to bounce a tiny bit depending on how smooth the road is.

I have them all aired up to 32 right now...I'm going to do the chalk test as soon as the pavement dries out, that will be the true test!

Thanks for the comps, I'm loving them!

sorry to ask a question on your thread, but I can't find any that answer my question. What are the biggest tires I can fit on my 06 tacoma trd double cab 4x4 with stock lift? And will 1" wheel spacers let me fit any bigger of a tire or would I need to do a lift? My warranty is up in 6K miles, so I'm itching do start the mods. Thanks guys.
