OK fine

I'd be interested in some potential theories too.
I wouldn't be too convinced it's fixed yet. I'm sure it will do it again sooner or later.
Keep it in your head and take notice of what the situation is when it does finally act up again.
Problem like these don't just dissappear, remindes me of the noob service techs we used to have at the dealer when a fuse would pop. Well they just replace the fuse write up a service report and the problems fixed right? Meanwhile the problem is still lurking, and the customer would call back a day or so later with the same problem,.. and another blown fuse. Then the company sends out another seasoned tech to fix the unit,...finds the short, repairs it, and then replaces the fuse as should have been done in the first place. Of course you can't write that up on your new service report because that would imply the the first tech didn't know WTF he was doing. And we can't imply THAT in this day and age it might hurt someones feelings.
Hey it's your truck,...you are the only one here who will get stranded when it starts doing it again. Personally I would spend some more time troubleshooting. If I can be of any help I will sure try.
Keep us posted,...this is what these forums are for.
Good luck.

I have an 02 jeep grand cherokee and it only dies when I hit the breaks.. I have changed the IAC, the throttle positioning sensor, o2 sensor and to no avail the problem still exists. I took it to a shop and they did a full diagnostic and nothing came up. They ended up replacing the battery because they weren't getting enough amps and the jeep worked for about 2 weeks. It still happens and I'm not sure where to go from here. I also gave it a full tune up and no luck. I'm no mechanic and have no clue where to go from here. Any help would be grateful.
