Rear window works when you push or beat tailgate.

I'm pretty sure of what it is i think but i wanna see if anyone knows any simpler fixes i've missed. But my rear window on my runner works "kinda" It has a fairly new motor with a lifetime warranty in it and i've checked all the components in it and they are all good and working as far as i know. The tailgate used to work very good half a year ago but it just started hesitaing and then got to the point of everyonce in a while to beating on the gate to get it to work and the switches rarely work and they are all new so yea any ideas?

check the resistors in the control for the rear window... i believe that matt16 has a writeup on replacing them...

also, did you remember to clean and regrease the arms before buttoning everything back up?
