Here is a place you can buy the kit. This was just a quick search. I'm not sure if you can get it for cheaper. It is a little pricey but I heard the really make them perform.

Hope this helps.

as far as the webers go check ebay. i think it is like kbwarehouse or something like that. they sell the 38 for $370shipped and the 32/36 for 300$ shipped. and yes they are a authorized dealer of redline weber (i talked with a sales rep for redline and he told me that they have been a dealer for a long time. do a search for 22r on ebay. gearing, cam and headers/exhaust.

I have an 87 22R on 31's 4.10s and its not a dog...
Its got quite the getup ... and compared to a good running stock 22r 2wd 87' its surprisingly comparable...
I have NO complaints about the exceleration of my truck, or power for that matter.
a 22R compared to a 22RE on the streets you will not notice a power gain to a 22RE... I dont care who you are, you're full of crap. STOCK everything ofcourse.

I have two 4runners a 88' other is a 89'
the 88' is completely stock ecept for a drop in K&N air filter and an exhaust that is rusted off after the cat.
the 89' has the electric fan,2.5" exhaust, and the a/c belt off.
The 89 engine could lap my 88's all day.
I contribute it mainly to the electric fan. Both engines have been rebuilt.
I think alot has to do with what is taxing the engine.
On the 22RE's I think that fuel injection(carbon deposits)and gunk have alot to do with slowing them down. Clean EFI plus no taxation = nice power.
The 89 had stock 4.10s and I couldn't believe how well it pulled, after everyone saying that you have to have them regeared(it has 35x12.50 Mickey Thompson Baja Claws on 15x10 rims)
My only thought is it might have a heavier flywheel, although the previous owner said it didn't.
I think that if you really want more power the only way is taking off the restrictions A/c belt, fan clutch(add electric fan),and add bigger exhaust, air filter, carb. I believe these are the "Cheapest" things to get you the most bang for the buck.
A friend has a 22R in an extended cab pickup 85-89(don't remember)4x4 with 31's
Had the webber installed,he could bark the tires in second.
He was amazed at the power it had and he was a Jeep guy,he has a nice Rubicon(HI-out put V6) so for him to be suprised by its power is a testiment to me.
Hope this helps lead you in a positive direction
