Elbe is rough, expect body damage if you aint got armor, and a helluva lot of mud and water. the trails are tight, narrow and littered with tree's and crap. It's a challange for sure!!!! people who wheel elbe usually go with truck/trailer and wheeln rig in tow.

=)

Tahuya is good for a mild, fun filled day. Great for people with mild rigs looking for an awesome adventure, awesome awesome awesome place to quad to imo.

Capitol Forest is good if you know the area but doesn't offer a lot overall.

Most places have been blocked off, Ft Lewis used to be GREAAAAAAAAAAT.. until 9-11.. Dont get caught on base land, or say goodbye to your nuts. They'll rip you a new ahole in the process. Used to go out there and wave to the troops on the roads as they played their war games, then wheel the piss outta the new loggn roads the tractors made...

cant do it anymore, they'll take ur rig and arrest ya, and when you finally get back home expect your wallet to be empty from the hefty fines I think its felony trespassing now. its stupid, hell even the public prairie here, u get caught without a permit you're screwed.

that link above, nw jeepn somethin is a good place for reference!

Rock Candy off the 8 has some good pits if ur lookn for some fun close to Oly. *heh, my avatar pic was taken at Rock Candy

Just noticed that you are from Yelm My hubby and I are too

Not sure when we would be able to go, but I am sure he would be down to go on a run.

We usually go to Elbe Hills or Evans Creek Been to Reiter but it's been a few years.

I'd love to go, but don't have the gas. And 91Toy, at least the air in this "ugly state" doesn't have that strange bad eggs smell......
