Talking with our mechanics at work our company went back to Dino oil in our equipment and company vehicles. We had been using Axxxoil oil and filters for years but the pay off and failure rate just wasn't making it worth it.

Yes construction is a rough trade and that might have something to do with it but regular oil changed at regular intervals is still hard to beat.


In my old Yota I run whatever's cheapest and Napa Gold 1516 filters.

Splendid choice for your engine...it should be smiling I see that the Denso is a moderately priced filter n the spectrum of offerings from Rockauto at $2.90...you could have a "Pronto" for $1.62 or a K&N for $8.16. Many people love K&N cuz they "care" about their engines...I call 'em suckers Delo; if its good enuf for a diesel...its good enuf for me...in my ignorance...
