195k on the truck, 50k on rebuilt motor. The only problem I have is the constant exhaust leaks. I seem to go thru the doughnut gaskets between the manifold and down pipe, I replace them once a year. I'm going to start buying the cheap aftermarket one's instead of wasting money on the Toy one's.

This is a common problem with the 5-speeds. The bushing will wear out and the shifter will pop out of gear. I think it's like a $10 fix.

Hi All,
I got a '96 4Runner 5VZ-FE Automatic 4WD....original transmission and engine...121,000 miles and still going. Just changed almost all the drivetrain fluids except for the front diff...which I plan to do along with my next engine oil change. I LOVE TOYOTAS!

171k on my '98 V6. Please keep your fingers crossed for me--I have to drive it another 500 miles to have the timing belt/water pump replaced by my trusty mechanic... (it's never been done... MY FAULT.)
