Help!!! Losing 1st gear in 5spd tranny

That sucks with bunch of people around. My next biggest problem will be determining what type tranny I have. The previous owner did an engine swap for the same typ of 3.0, but I don't know if he changed the tranny. Is there a code on the housing to help ID it?

Just checked the seat, It's not in pieces. but does look a little worn out. How do I ID the tranny?
