Help air conditioner leaking inside passanger side
Hello
While driving back to Georgia I noticed my carpet was wet on passanger side and water leaking underneath where the ac stuff was. ( it wet and cold condensation?). I know there is a line that lets the condensation leak out outside the truck cab. Where is this line on a 1994 Toytota 22RE 2WD truck. How do I clean it out??
Thanks
Pete

your drain line is most likely clogged. shop vac and a piece of wire should knock the stuff out. Go easy with the wire. I used a brush that cleans out the drinking tube on Camel Back Hydration systems.

I found it. For anyone wondering it's tucked right up inside the front passenger wheel well. It's a little silver metal tube that's right behind a rubber flap, at least on my '94.

No photo, but behind the dash is the evaporator (which is what the air passes through to get cold). It's a black box. At the bottom of it there should be a tube going through the firewall. This tube is the drain tube that gets clogged or falls out and causes water to spill on the carpet.
If the clog is in the box, you can pop the bottom of the box off I believe, but its pretty cramped in there.
If the clog is in the tube, just take canned air or a pipe cleaner to it, its only a foot or two long I think.
If the tube just fell out... stick it back on, but make sure its not clogged first.
