Frame spec

So i was wondering if any body had the frame measurements for 86-88 pickup 4x4, because i found one and im half tempted to see if i cant, put and extended cab on it with maby some modification and to see how well the bed will fit. ill take any sugestions too because im not quit sure what i might do, but i am thinking of putting a flat bed

i would do it in a hartbeat, a few frame mounts and a flat bed and ur golden should tell you the details on pirate tho, LOTS OF INFO IN THE FAQ!!!

just don't ask dumb questions, or at least questions that "self-described" experts would consider dumb. search, search and search lest you be walking the plank... oh, and don't show any elder member up, if you become a member, they get even more riled when a 'newb' knows something they don't.

lol well i was just wondering if i wouldnt have to do mods to make it work lol because id rather not have to do anything but drop it on lol

Its not hard to do. Just cut off the front bed mount. Carefully take of the rear cab mount and weld that where the bedmount was. You'll have to give it a 1.5" body lift at least to clear the regular cab gas tank and the frame crossmember above the t-case. Just check out the pics of my truck to see the finished product. It is well worth the effort.
