Not really...while I see your point, I'll challenge that it's not really stock. Adding a breaker mixes it up quite a bit. Had I known about it, my very first suggestion (other than plugging in the wire harness) would have been to test/replace the breaker. It's not uncommon for the breaker to fail in this situation. They're subjected to a good bit of vibration from the motor and impact from the road. A primary reason cars use fuses and not breakers.

Don't take it personally, but try to be more thorough in your description next time. Leaving out a part of the puzzle (however minor it seems) can be the difference in us scratching our heads and solving the problem.
