Is the firewall rusted through, too?
You could probably just take it off and weld it, and reinforce it if you wanted to..
But if it's rusted through then the reinforcement is going to be necessary

It's time consuming to get out, but not impossible. Mine broke in almost the same place. I'm trying to remember how many bolts there are. I know there are 2 for the clutch master and 4 for the brake master. I think there are a couple others.

Now, you can weld it, like I did mine. If you are going to reinforce it, you might want to put plate steel behind it and weld it.

My understanding, though, is that there is a newer, stronger version of the clutch bracket available, but I'm not sure of the cost. I think I'm going that route if this one breaks again.

I recently replaced mine thru Toyota of Dallas (yotatech member discount) to the tune of around $200.......I would reccomend a micro-sized air ratchet to make the very tight quarters job go much faster.......I wouldn't have wanted to do it with had tools.....as it was it took several hours upside down in cramped quarters.

I had mine replaced a couple of years ago. Invoice shows $136.58 list for the bracket.

i remember 3 bolts, total..
2 that hold the slave cylinder, and then 1 for top support up under the dash..
This was also in a 1st gen pickup.

I would get the bolt battern off the old bolt on thing, then cut it off, and replace it with some fresh 1/8th stuff.
If it's already rusted, then you're going to end up breaking it again.

You could try and go to the junkyard for one, too.

Mine broke about a year ago and i just welded it back and reinforced it with a crossmember type bar going across the bracket if i remember correctly.

It's time consuming, as already mentioned, but certainly able to be done with basic hand tools. When you remove it, make sure to check the threaded insert that's facing straight up into the sheetmetal. My buddy's failed this same way, same spot, and the threaded insert had pulled right out of the upper dash/firewall area.

I replaced his with a junkyard piece in a mall parking lot, on Black Friday with a flashlight. It was freezing, and it sucked, but it got him home.

It later broke in the same spot, which is why I noticed that the threaded insert was ripped out. Welded that back in, slapped in a new bracket (I paid about $110 for it or so, but I get a great discount at my local dealer), and it's been good ever since.
