what type of shocks do you use? I have a stock height,31-10.50 tires, I have old man emu shocks on it now. been on for about 7 years, I dont really like them, there very harsh, I will be replacing them but would like to get some info on what type all of you guys have installed. thanks for any input:0

I'm running monroe reflex schocks all the way around. Good price, really good handling.

I have skyjackers and I'm very happy with them. They resist body roll while giving good small bump sensitivity.

I also have Skyjackers on all 4 corners. SO far pretty nice ride. Mainly street use but the litle trail time I saw they handled much better than the stock ones did.

Monroe sensortrac's for street and mild, mild 4x4. They ride really nice but are soft. Bilstein will be more harsh.

I'm going to be purchasing Old Man Emu shocks in about a month. I have heard nothing but good things about them and a few guys I wheel with run them on their vehicles.

Bilsteins. They are expensive, but well worth the money.

I hav ea set of Tokico shocks from an FJ Cruiser in the rear of my 4Runner. Much better than the Rancho RS500's that was in there.

I am looking at different options for the front.

I have Bilsteins and I would recommend them, but they are a little towards the firmer/sportier side of the ride. If you are looking for a nice cushy soft ride that absorbs bumps and not so sporty/firm, go with the stock OEM shocks. I'm pretty sure if you buy stock replacements you also get a lifetime warranty on them from Toyota, but I could be wrong. I am of the opinion with shocks that if you're not going OEM, you're going Bilsten, and if you're not going Bilsten, you're going OEM. They are somewhat opposite ends of the spectrum and they are both nice shocks at what they do and work well.
