block changes

i was wondering what the block changes were as far as bolting up the trany from 86 to 94 my 86 toyota main berings went out and i have a line up on a 94. i know mine is a 22r and his is a 22re. i was just wondering weather the 94 would bolt to my trany and what it would take to drop it in my truck

Your trans will bolt to the newer engine, the only real deference is that yours is carbed and the other one is fuel injected, otherwise there the same engine.

You will need to add your fuel pump eccentric to the 94 motor, but other than that and obvious things like wiring and intake, it is exactly the same engine.
