Bj Spacers!
Is anyone around here running BJ Spacers with those rock crawler (steel rims) and 31x10.50 tires? 
I don't wanna buy them and have tire interferance...

Actually they do, some tire, rim width and back spacing combos will rub the UCAs with BJ spacers. Ask Frank or Roger to be sure.

From Roger's site:
Tires on rims with the stock backspacing of 4.75" might have tire rubbing issues with 31" or smaller tires.
This is dependent on tire geometry, most clear but a few don't.
This can be often be remedied by filing/trimming the end of the a-arm lip and/or using rim spacers. Rims with 4.5" or less of backspacing clear all tires known so far.
A 1/4" wheel spacer is also an option for fitting stock wheels with clearance issues.

The most common rock crawler steel wheels will have zero issues. 15x8 with 3.75" BS will clear more than enough.
10" wide steelies or even stock wheels with 12.50 wide tires, yeah i could see them rubbing.

I have bj spacers and 15 by 8 rock crawler wheels and 32x11.5x15 bfg muds and they only rub a little at full turn and flex without pounding the pinch weld but with the pinch weld pounded and no mud flaps there is zero rubbing

If you re-read you'll see that they arent talking about fender wells. the BJ spacers push the UCA(upper control arm) up and very close to the wheel. some may even rub.

They only rub on stock backspacing, which is 4.5", with a few of the 31" tire brands. Most 31's clear as to the larger tires because the tire bulge is farther away from the UCA. After market rims should be fine because they typically have 4" or less backspacing.

Agreed, can we try to keep threads on topic. He wants to know about rubbing with spacers. If he asks about SAS or is proposing something similar in cost and work magnitude, then help him out.
I suspect it is the cluttering of threads with off topic info that makes searching a pain hence the repeat questions we see here over and over and over...

Why the hell would I do a SAS, When I don't go rock crawling? I jump the outa my truck, do high speed stuff, and go mudding and do trails... 
Solid axles are absolute junk for jumping or anything over 70 mph...

I would go with 15x8 w/ 3.75BS.

I put some 1.5" BJ spacers on when I had stock rims and Wild Country TXR's (31x10.5) and they rubbed tire to UCA. That was the excuse i needed to go get some 15x8 3.75"bs rims. Still running the TXR's (31x10.5) No rubbing on control arm, lots of room, and rims that will take a larger tire when it is time to replace them. I think it worked out just fine for me.

i want to get some RC also. but the ones with 3.75 BS have a choise of either 0 offset or -.750 ofset. how does ths play into the mix?
