Any 22r guys have experience with LC carb adapter and K&N air cleaner?
i have been eying this product for quite some time and do believe i am going to order it within the next few days to replace the stock air intake on my 22r. Does anyone have any experience or words of advice on this product? Anything is appreciated. =]

well the main idea was to at least open up the intake a little for more air flow and if i dont like the K&N filter that is in there couldnt i just replace it w/ the Fram filter that you suggest?

IF the air filter was the difference between 100 horsepower / 300000 miles and 105 horsepower / 200000 miles... which choice would you make?

Honestly, it will not make that much of a difference. not even 5hp as in the above example. please dude, just save that 100 bucks. i can think of so many things i would rather do with that money than buy that pos air filter adapter.

For a $100 you can find a used webber. I think that was the only reason i was able to rock no gears and 36's in colorado and run 90 down the highway. If you want more power i suggest tune up,carb or adjustments, Timing is a big limiting factor in the 22r, Cam, Header and a nice quiet catback...$100 doesnt sound like much in the big picture of an underpowered motor but its enough to buy a tool kit to make adjustments that will make it more drivable and get more power or a small mod that will help more....even replace worn parts.
Seriously use every option for making power with what you have now before you throw money at it. My truck was no rocketship but i could light off 36's at a stoplight with out a wicked sidestep or clutch dump, could cruise 80 with out an issue, and i spent no more then $200 on parts and less then 4 hours tweaking over the week i spent messing with it. My manifold and cat back was stock, Carb and electric fan was the only mods to the motor. the rest was tweaking and keeping everything in working order.
Do what you want tho its your money to throw at things that wont help the cause.
