Adding more lift need some help
Well right now i have a 94 pickup with 4'' super lift kit and 3'' body lift and 35's. In the rear is a 2'' block with about 2 or 2 1/2'' add a leaf. Im changing out the 2'' block for a 4''. What all do i need to chage besides longer U blots and move the bracket that came with the 4'' kit up to the next levle to help the rear brakes when the bed has a load in it. And on the front im adding a 1.5'' ball joint spacer. So i can run 37's. If there is anything else im gona need let me know. Thanks.

Um yeah. Start with a shoebox full of cash to fix all the stuff you're gonna break doing it that way.
You're gonna need a bunch of spare IFS parts if you actually wheel it (idler arms and CV joints in particular), leading to eventually needing a SAS.
You're gonna need new rear springs after the tall block causes axle wrap to crack them.
WTF do you 'wheel in an IFS truck that you need 37's?

Going Big: I don't know that you need all the stuff that you are going to be using to begin with. I have seen plenty of Yota's with a 4-5" suspension lift and a 3" body lift running 38.5" tires with little or no problems. The width usually seems to be more of an issue than the height. Let me know how everything turns out, prolly going to be doing the same thing later on this year or first of next. Good luck, later.

I recegnize that you want this as a "show" truck but that kind of 1980s lift is dangerous to your wallet and your driving.
How bout some bushwacker cut-out flares, keep the lift you have and then run your 37's.
BTW- How the hell do you afford gas?

Seriously - don't do the blocks. Get an add a leaf or better yet, re-arched springs.

Oh I definately agree with using a new set of leaf springs rather than using lift blocks. I went to a car show in Anderson, SC the other week and saw something that I never thought I would. There was a lifted ford truck on 49" Iroks, not too shocking. But two foot or longer blocks that he had under the rear leaves looked ridiculous. Not to mention the leaves were beginning to arch the opposite way than they were made to go!!! Spend a little extra and get some leaf springs. They will look, ride, and work better! later

Its a street truck, so it will run the tires okay. If it ever sees a trail it's going to crap itself.
You may run into issues with the block. Sounds like you are aware of the axle wrap issue, but the block is going to start to cause drivline issues.
The best bet would be get rid of the block all together and get new springs with shackles. However, sounds like you wish to do a cheaper fix.
What i would do, is go with a 3 inch block and lift the extra inch with a longer shackle. This is going to rock your axle back a little, and aleviate the angle of your drive line.
Just to add a disclaimer, i don't think this is a good idea at all, however, i think that you should be able to get away with it, if you are careful, with this set up.
On another note, fill me in on whatever job you are working at where you are 17 and can afford 2 vehicles both modified, and the insurance. I need to start working there no joke!

DAddy proboble built them, and pays for the insurance...no offefnse, just stating probable facts....

Thanks for all the help so far guys. I do understand this isnt the best way to lift the truck, But for now it will haft todo. I guess i will save up for a 3'' block and a longer shackel. Or about what size new rear leaf springs would i need that would give me about 6''(if that is the right amount)like brands or just get a shop in town to make some?
And for how i pay for all this stuff. I mowed yards like crazy to pay for most the stuff on my yota. Now i work for my dad and have a job after school. And the jeep is something both me and my dad love to wheel and and work on. And i was lucky enuf for my dad to pay for insur. and payments. And i am veary thanksful. Because if he didnt i would be broke.
