87 22re 4runner white smoke while warming up
Hey guys, I just picked up a great 87 4runner 4x4 with 160,000 original miles on the 22re.
Upon starting the engine and reving up or driving, im geting alot of white smoke. However, after driving for several minutes the smoke stops?
I know white smoke usually means a cracked head gasket. Could that be the issue? Keep in mind its also been about 50F outside the past few days and I dont know if that would have anything to do with condensation build up and right before I bought the truck the owner claimed it had been sitting for a while.

If it goes away, probably normal and nothing to worry about. My rebuilt motor that has less than 10,000 miles does it to. Especially if it has been raining or real damp outside. Just keep a close eye on the coolant level for a while.
