I'm looking to change my stock exhaust to an aftermarket performance exhaust that is QUIET and was wondering if anyone had some suggestions on what brand i should go with. thanks.

I'm running stock manifold, no cat, to two GSXR 1K mufflers. It's *fairly quiet* until you step on it. I built it with the cat the first try, but it was just too quiet for me. Just a thought, if you'd like pictures let me know.

I'm running a tubular header to a custom built 2.5" mandrel system with only 2 bends. The one 15 degree where it goes from header to level with the frame, and then a 90 to point at the dirt. I have a stubby bomb style muffler and another Summit muffler on there. It's decent until you romp on it, especially considering it ends before the cab!

Quiet is a relative term. generally the less restrictive the louder it will be.
A muffler with a larger case is usually not as loud as a smaller one.
Magnaflow or Borla mufflers with larger cases and offset/center or offset/offset designs flow pretty well and have very tolerable noise levels but still sound good. The straight through ones flow better but are a bit louder.
Actually, today I swapped out my old glasspack (very loud), for a 4"x9" offset/offset with a 18" long case. It still sounds like performance but certainly won't draw much attention.

Anyway, I have a $30 glass pack. Sounds alright I guess

has anybody ever installed the PaceSetter cat-back system? or heard one?

I've heard nothing but negitive things about their headers for the 22re, I just wander if the same stands true for their cat-back kit...
