so i have been fighting a lack of power problem for a while in my 91 22re 4runner.... have power cold sometimes and not hot then every once in a while warm it would have power only to go away within a mile... I listened to my injector and my #2 sounded completly different than the rest much slower and deeper knock instead of tick...i was able to switch the connector with the #3 and it ticked the same way so its not the connector.. so i put some injector cleaner in it and let it idle for a while and then took it for a drive still no power after 2 miles i pulled out of a stop sign on my way home and it had all the power it should and was running great. then my volt gauge went all the way above 18 and my battery light was flashing on the dash got about half way back home and the volt gauge went back to normal and the battery light stopped flashing..... but then all my power went away again as soon as the volt guage went done ..... so i was wondering if anyone knew of something like this happening or what it might be...
