yes .. leave it alone ...

biggest problem I have run into , is usually by now the throttle shaft bushings are worn .. and adjustment is near impossable .

we need a supply of throttle shaft bushings .. and they are just NOT avaliable .

Pop one off and start comparing. Go to hardware stores, autoparts stores, etc. I replaced shifter bushings in my Datsun 240z with bushings from a Chrysler door hinge repair kit. Brass over rubber... I don't see them breaking and the shift is more firm.

You never know... you're throttle shaft bushings might be sitting on a door linkage setup for some other make and model car.

I figured I'd just bump this thread instead of making a new one. Anyway Ive been trying to adjust my TPS and I can't get the second setting correct as per 4Crawlers diagram. 1, 3, 4 and 5 come up correct. Does this mean its time for a new TPS? How far out of spec is ok if at all? I get an open infinite reading on the .57mm (actually .58 since I don't have the .57 feeler) setting as well as the .85mm setting. I don't wanna mess with it too much more since it is very close to being correct.
