Hi, i have a 10/85 build date 4x4 with long bed.
guys at parts store are totaly confused which wheel cylinder to get...so i am.

is there any upgrade that i can do ?

i searched, didnt find anything about the rear wheel cylinder themselves, only the MC.

It got already IFS with vented rotors and big drums (oem).

what options are there? Are you telling him 85 or 86? 10/85 is an 86

All 4x4 86 trucks use the same wheel cylinder.

well, he ask me for the build date, but also if it is a 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton.

looooong time ago, the dealer told me it was a 85 1/2

I always say its a 86'.

no upgrade (larger cylinder) ??

What is the front suspension? A leaf spring/solid axle or IFS w/ torsion bars?

I mentioned in my first post that it is a front IFS (with torsion bars)...mostly a bone stock long bed early 86'.
it has the large drums at the rear.

Well, you have the big brakes in back, so the stock part is fine. I would get one from a Toyota parts dealer, just take in your VIN number and they can fix you up.

since i have your attention...i plan to add a snow plow on this truck. since it is a IFS, there is no coild spring to play with.
is there something that can be added like a coil-over helper ??

You can add heavy-duty torsion bars to offset the weight, or go on the cheap and just crank them up a little bit....be advised thats not the best way to do it since you will have a harsher ride, and risk damage to the bars from the added stress.
