Question Fuel Injector Help!!!

Hey Guys,
Im new to the forum and have an 85 EFI XCAB that Im rebuilding... my latest snag are my injectors, I took them in to be cleaned but they say they are no good. I found a set from Summit for an 89, but Im not sure if the electrical connection is the same, anyone know if it is? here is the part number VNM-HP640-177-4. I know the truck hasnt changed much between those years but am not positive. Any ideas would be great, thanks. and I'll get pics up asap...

I am 99% positive that your injectors are low impedance and the ones for the 1989 will be high impedance. The plugs should also be different. I believe the indexing pins are on the opposite side.

I didnt think they went bad either, but the guy that was cleaning them said he couldnt get them to spray properly... he said they are spraying sideways... and he ran them on his machine for hours...

send them to the guys at witchhunter.com

I sent them a few, they seem to be very professional guys. They looked really nice when they came back

And yes, injectors are very year-specific. I would not try to put in any other injectors but ones that are from an 85.
