Cheap transmission fluid alternative
I just had my W56 rebuilt and I figured I would flush it after a few hundred miles or so, and I don't want to waste a jug of redline. I searched around and had a hard time finding a semi-decent cheap fluid. Any thoughts?

You just had your trans rebuilt and you want to put cheap fluid in it?
I would change the fluid after a couple hundred miles and then again after a couple hundred miles, then change per the service manual.
Good brand fluid will clean it out better, it won't be a waste.
I took my trans apart and cleaned everything I could, put it back and put Amsoil in, less than 20 miles I drained it (had to pull trans again) and it was black. Cleaned it pretty good.

I planned to put Redline in it after I flushed it, I just didn't want to use expensive fluid that I am going to flush soon after. I'm not talking like bottom barrel, just not $60/gallon.
