Auto tranny issues

ok so i just finished replacing the head gasket and timing chain on my 85 4 runner 22re. i just obtained the truck from my sister, and she is not mechanically inclined so i am not sure on acurate history. but i am haveing a few problems with the truck so here it goes.

first off as everyone says it first the timing is correct

1)fixed after i got the engine together i fired it up and it seems to be running on 3 cylinders. so i figured it out that it's not firing on #1. it's got spark and compression, so i figured it's fuel. so i went to the autowrecker got a new injector, put it in, still not firing. so i pulled to wire off the injector hooked up my tester i'm only getting .5 volts. so i thought i would fire it up again and hook up power to the injector straight from the battery. fired it up and before i could hook up the power it's now only running on cylinders #2 and #4

2) when my sister had this truck she had the tranny replaced. the tranny swapped in is an 88 but she still has the computer in there from the 85 is this a problem or should it be fine?

3) when driving and i come to a stop it the tranny won't down shift to 1st gear i have to downshift it manually.

Check the injector wiring:

And if using a regular volt meter, you are unlikely to see the rapid on/off voltage pulses to the injectors.

driving it today i think the tachometer is reading half what it should be like at about 3500 on the tach it feels and sounds like redline. so i'm thinking if the computer thinks the rpm's are half of what they really are that the shift points are all screwed up plus it's feeling gutless. what do you think? and what can i do to fix this?

so i am pleading to get some help here as to why i have no power. in reverse it won't move if there is any amount of up hill. it sometimes shifts properly but most of the time not and if i go to take off in D and it doesn't and then put it into L it goes into 2nd not 1st and has no power to accelerate if i shift manually like a standard i also have to down shift manually to get it down to 1st then i can go through the gears to upshift otherwise it starts in 2nd therfore no power. other thing when driving in D my OD lights is flashing.

i need this fixed soon otherwise i have to take it off the road and drive my car again.

ps i changed the tranny filter and oil on the weekend so i know thats good no broken parts in the pan nice and clean

for more background info i wrote a story here http://bb.bc4x4.com/showthread.php?t=143903
