If you've got all that black crap coming out of the fuel line up there at the filter you'd probably be better off to go ahead and drop the tank, replace the pump and FPR and flush all the lines to get them cleaned out. Toss in another filter while you're at it. If you can get your hands on a replacement tank you might need to go that route too depending on how bad your current tank is.
