84 Knuckle rebuild w/bearings - questions
I will post up pictures of this rebuild once I get into it.
I am about to tackle an 84 knuckle with bearings rebuild and I have a few questions. This may be a stupid question but do I have to remove the axle to do a rebuild or can I leave it on and do the knuckle rebuild still on the truck??
I have never pulled the birfs while the diff was still on the truck. Do the birfs pull out without having to remove the diff? If so, when I put the birfs back in is there a special way to get them in or is it similar to the rear axles (push until in place?)

Hang the front of the frame on jack stands and then go to it (axle housing still in place):
