Hmm...let me see if I can find what my wheels are. A LOT of the wheels out there have the wrong backspacing for our trucks. The ones that were on my truck when I bought it rubbed against steering components. I did a lot of research to find out what wouldn't rub and it actually limited my options since I was limited to a certain backspacing and not everybody carried it. Can't remember what it was now....

3-3/8" is stock backspacing:

Usually fine to 3-3/4", above that it'll depend on the shape of the wheel as to whether it'll rub or not. Wheel spacers can add some clearance, I run 1/4" spacers.

I know the stock wheels are 15x6.5" right? and if they have about 3 3/8 bs.....

the wheels I have found are 15x7 and none are lower then 3.75 bs, will that work????

the pattern is 6-5.5 right?

I don't want to order the wrong wheels. thanks

Wheels are indeed 6 on 5.5":

3.75" b/s usually fits, depending on the tire with and diameter, you might run into issues with the tires hitting the front springs at full lock. On stock rims, my 33x9.50s just touched the springs on my '85.

15x8 with 3.75" bs works. Anything else is too deep and will
rub as so the wheel won't spin at all if even go on period.

Order from 4WP like $45 each.

Otherwise get wheel spacers.

Can't find my wheels at Les Shwab online, but I'll check on my lunch break to see if my receipt tells me much about them.

4 in bs would fit as long as you are running a skinny(ish) tire. They wouldn't clear by much, but that seems to be the situation you are in. If you want to check the backspace yourself, just lay a straight edge across the back of your wheel, and measure from the wheel mounting surface to your straight edge.

I have some wheels I'm going to get rid of. I'll give them to you if you want. I am running 31x10.50s as well and they clear just fine. Don't know the back spacing but they are working just fine. Kinda rusty but not something you can't clean up. Let me know. I'm in northern colorado so shipping may be the limiting thing. PM if you want them

With my old wheels the issue wasn't the tires rubbing. The wheels themselves rubbed.
