How are the threads in the head? Were you able to torque all the nuts to spec? My manifold was leaking when I first go the truck and I found 3 stripped out thread holes in the head. I had them repaired when the head was rebuilt.
These trucks have been through so many owners and lets face it, some people should not be wrenching on trucks. The head must be completely cool before removing or torquing the studs and nuts.
Not saying you stripped them but the previous owner of my truck must have tried to torque the
manifold down when the head was hot.
I would remove the header and look to see if that back one is stripped. If it is, you will need to remove the head and helicoil them or you will never get it to stop leaking. Studs are a must! Don't use bolts or you will strip them out.
