That's the 2 piece adaptor. Enlarge the pic and you'll see the 2 slabs of aluminium. I ran that kit for a while and it's "fine", just prone to leaks. If you're planning on running that setup for a long time, spend the extra and get a good single piece adaptor like this mabee? http://www.lceperformance.com/Spiral...-p/1033028.htm
If, like myself at the time, this is something to run until you have the money to buy the offy dual plane manifold or whatever (among sooooo many other fun engine and suspension mods), then it should be fine. I think I ran the two piece for about a year and it didn't leak, but I gooped it up with rtv pretty heavy if memory serves (this was 12+ yrs ago).

also i just got taken a outlaw carb off a 1986ish mitz mightymax (my dads truck and he wasnt very happy about it but he will get over it). i was wondering if it might bolt up? i also got the conversion plate also but havent yet took it off.

havent done much to the truck but was wondering is the rough country 3" lift kit w/ 4 RC Hydro 8000 is a good lift choice? or is there better ones out there?

Good thing I am subscribed to this post! Bingle was incorrect (no hard feelings), I DO NOT like the 3" Rough Country lift kit that I bought. I knew it was a lower level kit, but I simply bought it to get rid of the ridiculous 7.5" lift that the PO had on my truck so I could keep my truck on the road until I ripped it down for a restore this fall. My RC kit rides stiff as ˟˟˟˟ and hardly has any flex. For a quality suspension, you are going to spend quality money! That being said, I will be going with the product offered by WabFab or LC Engineering.
If you don't really care about ride quality and performance, then by all means go with RC. But make sure you save some extra cash to see the Chiropractor everything you go for a spin!

No offense taken! Was just pretty sure that was the lift you had so you would be someone who would know. So, "Rough Country" is a very apropreate name then.

yes all pro springs would be what i would use. rough country,procomp and skyjacker are all crap IMO. trail gear springs are ok, just ok. they will perform more like the all pro spring do but they are known to break and/or sag over time.

You may want to look a Old man emu lifts, you could get the front springs 89 each, then get some shackles. The rear you could get a add a leaf and shackle. Then some new shocks. Some people love the OME stuff some people hate it. This is what I think I am going to do. JustDSM had the OME kit so you may ask him about the ride.

ok havent done much and thanks to all of yall who helped with lift questions but that gets to be put on hold cuz the floor is rusted though way more than i thought. so i was wondering could a 82 or 83 2wd cab fit on a 83 4wd truck with not a lot of modifacations?
