LSPV rod?
hey i was worknig on the brake system today and my factory repair manual for my 80 4x4 shows the LSPV road as a straight rod. the rod on mine has 2 bends in it. could anyone go out and look under their truck and tell me what theirs looks like (or better get a pict). the previous owner did not treat this truck good at all so i am just wondering if they caught it up in a log and just left it bent. thanks. i will be just sitting here waiting for all of u to go out and look at you trucks

if the brakes are working fine dont touch it.
messing with that rod adjusts how much use the rear brakes get. Raising the rod up will increase the pressure that goes to the rear brakes.
