They come from all over, but I would bet that the majority come from the valley and southern cali. That pic actually makes it look kinda peaceful, compared to what it's really like.

I'm bummed I couldn't make it out this year... sad how its gotten smaller each year but then again the smaller, more intimate runs can be more fun

I'm glad everything went well and everyone had a great time. Maybe I'll make it next time. I still think of our visit to Pismo every time I find a nook or cranny in the truck with sand in it.

Oh. Right! I remember reading that thinking, "Wow, that's nice but a little bit of an overkill for me." I guess I just need to carry one of those cheap-o $30 air compressors that run off a cig lighter adapter.
