Niagara Rim Trail Carnage (NorCal)

My club had its annual bbq this year at niagara rim this year. We were expecting a relatively easy run, but found that the trail had gotten significantly rougher. It's still not bad, but full armor and 1 locker is recommended. The first part denied a stock rubicon, but a minimally lifted ifs toy truck made it with no problems.

But for me, it was another story...I wasn't having a good day.

I chose my line poorly, another foot to the right and I would have been fine.

On a lighter note, I did this obstacle near Lion's Butt easily (the first time).

But now I have a ticking coming from my front axle so I'll have to investigate.

Here's the rest of the pics, best viewed with IE.

Oh yeah it was still fun! I was more worried about what the wife was going to say when I got back.

There's a slight dent at the bottom, but I don't think it'll affect a new window much. You know what though...it's soooo much easier getting at stuff in the back without a window. I'm almost thinking of using a piece of hinged diamond plate instead of a window so I have access.

Steve,

It was a blast wheeling with you!!! It was great seeing you wheel that thing on a real trail finally. It's the "con" next....

Pull that birf and check it out.....I would be amazed if you busted a birf with 33's. Although the way your day went it would probably be par for the course.

So I am sure the wifee was really impressed with your carnage.

Good times....good memories.....
