after the removal no primer at all on the metal under the sound deading pads they stuck um on an painted over them

closeup of passenger side floor the descaler works great to get that hardened tar stuff off pops off in big chunks we removed nearly 12lbs of it

drivers side floor nearly done the last bit fought tooth an nail to stay stuck on the jack sits lower right the seat belt bolts to the shiny hole lower right

cleaned seat is quite soft an has a shine to the threads i think once repaired should be great

my tear with the repair kits backing material in there i needed to add some cotton fluff to pad the back so it would be level with the rest of the panel (cotton fluff acquired from old mattress going to the dump)

cotton fluff remains an vinyl repair glue that bonds the repair cloth to the rips

repair begun has to sit 24 hrs for the adhesive to set an hold the torn parts i put the tape on to make sure it stays stuck to the cloth an is flat tomorrow i work with color vinyl an grain paper
