Ram it with your front bumper.

haha ya that pretty much the amount of force it takes to get those thigns off usually. With my experience it seems like 1. you dont know how so you most likely dont have to puller already. 2. A puller cost about 45 bucks for a decent one ( crappy ones will usualy break befor the thing will budge). I have heard of peopel just cutting them off and buying a used one. It all depends on why you are taking it off

That joint...

It is an interference joint, as in the two metal pieces are designed at an angle so they wedge into eachother. Pullers are hard to use, forks are ok if you replace the joint; forks have a tendancy to destroy boots. The mechanic way is to beat the living hell out of the eyelet, without hitting or damaging anything else. And I mean hit it hard, with all your force, to the point where the metal even gets distorted a little bit. Sometimes can be fun, but usually just a HUGE pain in the ass. It would be a good idea to twist the nut on by hand to protect the threads.

Good Luck!

Harbor Freight has a small U-Shaped puller that fits and works perfect on that. Very easy with that tool.

Hard to tell in the pic, but if that is stock, the joint is built into that pitman arm. He still would have to remove it and weld in a tapered insert to allow a tie rod end to be used.
