My 6 cylinder 4runner is now making a chirping sound; kind of sounds like it is coming from one of the belts in the engine. Any kind of belt stuff I can put on them to make them quit making the noise?

Make sure the belts are tight. That is one cause of them being squeeky.

 

Auto or 5 speed?

 

davey does it just do it when its cold cause mine does the same thing. I can start the car up drive around the block turn it off and then start it again and it stops. is yours like this???? anyone got any ideas why it does this? CHris
