This is a fantastic rig, I get 18-21 mpg to and from work. It goes many many places. Its just not practical for me with a new daughter. I probably wouldn't use it like intended for too many years and don't have room for 3 rigs.

I'm interested for sure. I just need to find a buyer for my stock '89 ExtraCab. I may have one lined up as he's ready to get back into a Toyota after two unfullfilling years in an S10.

I'll be checking in periodically for status updates

good luck lettin this one go.... i can vouch for Nala, she's been solid... hey John how did the 4:88's work out? i'm about to regear and i'm thinking the 5:29's might be a bit high for my 33's. i got the duals now so crawl ratio is not a worry, i still run 33's most of the time on the street and only run the 36's when we plan a weekend trip....

Hey Rowan... When I ran 33's in there with the 4.88's it was all around great, needed to be lower on the trail.. but I guess you have that taken care of. I would still think about 5.29's... On the fwy on long trips you will really like them. I had to do a trip with 4.10's and 33's and 5th was used 3 times in 1000 miles, thou 3rd was faster up hills as you get 5mph or so more....

At 65 mph and 33's you would be 2860 (4.88) and 3100 (5.29), so not bad for 65mph and 33's.. With 36's you would be at 2560 (4.88) 2800 (5.29)... Knowing how Nala's motor runs U would prefer the 5.29's, she makes a big power increase at 2500...
