WTB: 90 t4r clutch pedal braket!

as the title states, i need the braket for the clutch & brake pedals. I don't need any sensors nor the actaul pedals, however if selling then along with the braket, i'll take it all, if needed. I just need a new braket becuase mine cracked and broke

Thanx for the help guys,
ALEX

I just reached back in there and welded mine. It was cracked to the point the pedal wouldn't do anything but hit the floor. Has worked perfect... and that was some 10,000 miles ago.

Just an idea. Replacing it might take some time, seeing it's all tucked away under the dash.

Yeah, a couple years ago, mine gave way... I just had my friend use a vise to get the pieces back together and he welded it... has worked great since!

taht was on ogrinal plan. do you guys think it can be welded back together with out removing it? Mine is broken from the left under the master cylinder. and it goes down toward the right.

It does look like a pita to remove, but definally doable.

oh and mine definally just drops to the floor. OK, i'm gonna try and see if i can weld it up this weekend. I do have a welder but I need to hook up the argon, i have the tank but the nozel on it is too big for the hose leading from my welder... I'll give it a try though over the weekend.

Knucklehead, i'll let you know tomorrow if i still need it, thanx alot guys.

Elvota said he left his in and welded it. It took me forever to disassemble the whole dash to get it out... it is a PITA. I was sick that day and it was no fun. My bracket had ben broken for who knows how long... There's a little brace that helps hold the pressure, but I guess from the previous owner, for the longest time, the bracket itself was cracked and all the pressure was being transferred to the thin brace. One day I heard "PING!" (weak brace giving way) and then the truck wouldn't shift and the clutch felt really mushy (dropped to the floor). IMO, I would take it out, just to have more room to work with. Just get ready to spend the day completing this task...

alright, i finally got this taken care of! today i spent my day cutting the clutch part of the bracket from the brake pedal side, i used a cordless dremel with a cutting attachment. then welded the broken part of the bracket and put it all back together. works excellent and the clutch feels so nice, finally i get to enjoy her, the clutch has been messed since bought the truck. Thanx for the help guys.
